Carol Fisher, MSW, LCSW
I have been in the practice of counseling and psychotherapy for over 20 years. I have worked in a variety of settings with families, adolescents, adults, and couples.
I have done a lot of workplace consultation, especially in conjunction with Employee Assistance Programs (E.A.P.S.). In the course of these activities, I have worked with a number of business owners and senior executives addressing workplace development and their own personal and family concerns.
I am a founder and principal of the Center for Psychological Wellbeing. I received my B.S. in Psychology and Sociology from
Agnes
Scott
College
and my Master’s in Social Work from the
University
of
Georgia
. I grew up on a farm in the Piedmont area of
North Carolina. I have been involved in a long-term marriage and have raised two daughters.
I enjoy individual counseling and psychotherapy with adults addressing a wide variety of issues. I have worked with many individuals who are highly talented and gifted but have been impacted by life’s events, and/or struggle with personal and career direction.
Currently, I am doing a good deal of work with couples and with relationship issues. I enjoy this counseling very much.
Over the years, I have had the opportunity to work closely with a number of psychiatrists and I have a sense of the psychological/psychiatric interface and the possibilities (including the use of medication) which are available with each.
I believe in doing a thorough assessment of the situation psychologically, interpersonally, and physiologically and then taking a strength based, results oriented approach.
My phone number is: 678-479-9665 x4.
